Spice of Bengals!
For those who study in Aberystwyth University should have heard about Spice of Bengals near the 24 hrs Spar...
Today, I went to the restaurant with some of my friends who are visiting us from Manchester, we are being nice to treat her to the Indian restaurant in the town which we thought it would be nice...However, it turns to be a disaster....
I have to say the service is not efficient and the waiter there don't seem like understand our language, secondly long serving time, we ordered 5 dishes and some naan bread, but it takes us more than half an hour waiting for the food to be served...
We might be thinking that it will worth the wait if the food being served are heavenly....
However, the curry is not good at all, expensive and small serving portions, the only one I prefer is a sweet coconut king prawns, which i think is called tandoori masal king prawns specialty....
The long wait made some of my friend nearly lose their temper and therefore don't really enjoy the meal!
For me, this will be the first and last visit to the restaurant!
Overall rating 3/10
Don't bother trying in this restaurant!
Remember this shop....

you are too kind.
3/10?thats too high.
i would have given 1/10.
Reasons (haha) :
1.Horrible service:manager that doesnt understand anything we are saying. Goodness.
2.Had to wait approx 1 hour for our food to be served.1 HOUR. And other patrons that came after us got their food before us.Ignore the fact that we were a bigger party than them.1 hour is too long.
3.Food not thattt great, i could count the pieces of mutton with one hand.
4.Didnt inform us water comes in jugs, instead gave us water in bottles which is a whooping price of 2 pounds.
5.Got our orders wrong.
Actually i have a lot to say but i cant think of any.I cant be a food critic.Haha.
Next time for indian food,we head to shilam.
Dear reader,
thank you for your response, the reason i give three is because of the design of the restaurant and we really can't ignore the fact that the cook put efforts in preparing the food...
They really need to buck up a lot if they want to survive in this cruel industry of culinary arts...
My next post will be my previous experience in Shilam's....
Wait for more...
